Corporate Background

On the 21st April 2006 the Celtic Roads Group were awarded their second Public Private Partnership (PPP) concession contract by the National Roads Authority.

The contract is for the design, build, finance and operation of the N25 Waterford Bypass. The project includes 23 kilometres of high quality dual carriageway and the landmark 475m asymmetric cable stayed Suir Bridge.

SouthLink N25 Limited carry out the operation and maintenance obligations on the project road for Celtic Roads Group during the thirty year term of the concession.

SouthLink N25’s shareholders’ are Egis Projects Ireland, Royal BAM Group Limited and ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios S.A.

The road was opened in October 2009.
